I wonder if Coach Catlin realized how many people have held him in their memories after all of these years. As a child the main thing I remember, was thinking what a handsome and gentle man he was. My sympathy to all his family and friends. Judy Hamlow (Qualls) Maroa, Illinois Class of 1960

I had Coach Catlin as my teacher in 1956 when I was in 8th grade at Maroa Grade School. He was a wonderful teacher and coach. I recently wrote my "Memories" for my children and he was included with a picture of him at our Class Trip to New Salem. My deepest Sympathy goes out to you all. Diana (Thrall) Koshinski

I had Coach Catlin as a Teacher at Maroa Grade School.He was a good teacher and very well liked.

I had coach Catlin as the "B" squad foot ball coach my Freshman year at Maroa High school. He was a good coach and well liked Coach and teacher. He was very easy to learn from. It is A great loss to many of us. Dave Smith
