David S. Cleaver

Dave and I were colleagues at the State Department of Education. I will miss him and out conversations. It was a pleasure to have known Dave.

Very sorry to hear of David´s passing. Although I knew he was not well, this nevertheless comes as a shock. I knew David as a friend, a team leader, and a colleague during my twenty years of service at the Connecticut State Department of Education. I considered David a gentleman, a scholar, a teacher and a mentor. We were also lunch buddies and enjoyed sharing ideas about our work at the agency as well as a broad range of lively topics from sailing to politics. He was a kindly, thoughtful man...
