Not sure what to say?

Jan and family, We were very sorry to hear of Dave´s passing. We were surprised because he seemed so healthy and happy when we saw you guys recently at Sizzler. It brought back lots of memories of good times with American Legion baseball. Dave was a great coach for our boys and a good friend to us. Sending our sympathy at difficult time. Ron & Suzanne Veazie

My condolences to Jan and the rest of the family. Dave was my Uncle, my Dad, my coach, and my friend. I remember when he went to Vietnam and when he came back, I remember being his first bat boy in 1970 when he started coaching. He coached me in Babe Ruth, but he also coached me in life. He taught me to work hard and don't take anything for granted. I turned out just like him, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I LOVE YOU Pops and I'll miss you!

This is a hard pill to swallow. Dave, you are loved by so many, and leave a hole that cannot be filled. You are the toughest, most loving person I´ve ever known. We miss you and honor you for your life well lived. Fly, my friend.

So sorry to lose Dave. A great guy and a great coach.

I never kept in very close contact with him and his family but I thought of them often. I Wished I had kept in better contact. He was a great uncle when I was growing up and he was always there if I needed him.

It was a sad day to hear of the news of Coach Cline's passing. He was always an animated mad especially when he was mad. Especially during baseball practice or game. I had the pleasure of him coaching the 15 year all star team with Steve Dallin. No one expected us to do anything but our coaches. We proved everyone wrong. Through Dave's madness we were able to become the best we could be. RIP in peace Coach Dave. Victor Romero

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I knew him through baseball. He did a lot of good for a lot of kids in Kearns, something I saw first hand as the Green Sheet weekly newspaper reporter who covered both Babe Ruth League and American Legion ball. Guys like him are important to so many. He never said anything to me about his Vietnam experiences. But I'm not surprised to find he was a brave man.

Jan & Family, So sorry to hear of your loss, Dave was a great friend and inspiration in my life. Enjoyed the years we had together and will never forget him. With our deepest sympathy Jim & Barbara Mitchell

We will miss Dave's hugs, so glad we were blessed to know him. Love yo, Cline family.
