Not sure what to say?

Always wished I could have been as good and kind as David. He was "the guy" at Millcreek and everyone loved him. Very much enjoyed playing volleyball with him. Was thinking of him as I started playing again recently. Some people just leave their mark on others, and even though I hadn't seen him since 7th grade, I thought of him often.

I'm so sorry to hear about David's passing. I worked with him at the auditor's office for a few years and we became good friends. I admired his wit, charm, intellect, and his tan Florsheim Imperial wing tips. He was also a heck of an athlete. I trained for and ran the Wasatch 100 with him. He beat me by more than an hour, even with a bad stomach. I always looked forward to our training runs because he had good stories and made them fun. I always think about Dave when I hear a Dave Matthews...

Dear Colene and Shirley, I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. He was always so nice, kind and fun!I remember how much Brenda and Shirley loved their brother. I remember when Brenda and I would take our siblings to the Drive-in by your house and how much Fun we had. May you find comfort and peace and cherish those wonderful memories of your beautiful family. Love you.

This is such sad, sad news. I am grateful for the memories of David: his charm, his intensity, being our quarterback, the VW Squareback, the snakeskin boots, his humor, and I can't hear a Clash song without thinking of him. God bless his mom and sister and family. Please accept my deepest condolences. May his memory be eternal.

I had lost contact with Dave over the years but a lot of my memories from high school have him in them. I'll share some at the celebration. I am extremely saddened by his loss. We spent a lot of time together playing baseball. I sure loved him!! Rob Harding

So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great guy, and will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Paula Bench

I'm so sad to hear of David's passing. He was such a sweet, fun, and handsome guy. I saw him a few times at the UTAH Capitol looking so dashing. He greeted me with a smile and a hug. Such a great guy. He will be missed. My sincerest condolences.

Will always remember your kind spirit.

I remember dressing Dave up in girls clothes, jumping on the tramp, and playing kick soccer baseball in front of our houses. He was always sweet and easy to love. He was never mean to others and always friendly. May God bless his family with peace and comfort. I love you!
