D. Brooks Cofer - such an entertaining and intriguing District Attorney who showed me the courtroom ropes when I became an adult/juvenile probation officer in January 1970. I would not have made it through those many trials, hearings and court dockets without his guidance and belief in me. Thanks, Brooks, for being there.

Mr Cofer will be missed. He was a good friend to my father (Ennis Green) and a great man in the community. To Annette, your beautiful mother, and the rest of the family-- my prayers are with you and may the Lord comfort you at this time.. Liz Dove
