Not sure what to say?

David's life was a representation of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His love of God's Word, weekly Bible studies (especially Revelation), his leading many young people to accept Christ is an example of a life well lived. He loved life, was a an ardent sportsman, and a good friend to me. I remember his continual fight with the ground hogs in his garden behind the house and his encounter with the raccoon in his wood stove.
I am sure that when David arrived at his home in Heaven he...

I wish I had had the chance to talk to him before he died. A good Christian man.

It was such a shock to hear about Dave's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time of loss. We know that he is now with the Lord. Thank you for all the years you shared him with us in Bible studies, Sunday School, and in service at church. I have never met another person as devoted to the Lord as Dave and I treasure the years that I had the privilege to know him and learn from him. Dave will truly be missed. He was a blessing to all who knew him.

I had the privilege of working with Dave at Bowser Morner a number of years ago. I was shocked to hear of the accident. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Jeanie & Girls,
Praying for God's comfort and strength for you til you join Dave in heaven. I was in Dave's Singles class at Far Hills Baptist in the early 80's. Dave's great love of Jesus and his williness to put it all on the line to serve Him and further His kingdom remain with me always. All who love him will miss him for awhile, but will be with him forever. Praying for you all. Dave was a tremendous treasure.

?Deepest condolences and prayers over you and your family in your time of loss. For my part, my clients and colleagues have only recently come to know and to work closely with Mr. Cowherd over the last year. We were all shocked and saddened by the news of his passing. Clearly David’s love of family and faith in God were readily observed by even those who knew him if even casually and serve to demonstrate the extraordinary measure of his character and a life well spent. I hope for you and...

I was so sorry to hear about David. I set under his teaching in bible study. David
was always consistent and lived his life by
the word of God. He will be missed by all
who knew him. My prayers to Jeannie & girls

David was one of the most consistent and devoted Christian leaders/teachers I have ever met. His influence on his family and countless lives will last for eternity. I enjoyed being a part of his Bible studies and conversations of fishing trips and other adventures. He is sorely missed. My sincerest condolences to you Jeannie, Karin, Lynn, and Jill. God bless you guys.

Cowerd family,
We were grieved to hear the news of David's passing. While I remember more the times with Lynn in the youth group, I know today that David was a consistent, influential part of our church. His love for God's word is the strongest memory I have. May God's comfort be your experience in these days ahead. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5.
