David Cross Obituary

Family-Placed Death Notice

CROSS, David Mr. David Ralph Cross, age 63, of Suwanee, GA passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009 at his home. He was born November 23, 1945 in Atlanta, GA son of the late Ralph and Jeanne Bruce Cross. David was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Master's degrees in Microbiology and Public Administration. He also held a Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta. His professional career included supervisory positions in the Gwinnett County Public Utilities Department from 1976 to 2001 and more recently in the Fulton County Department of Public Works as Water Quality Manager in the Industrial Monitoring Program. David will be greatly missed by his survivors; his sister and brother-in-law, Merrie and Tony Gonzalez and his sister Pamela Cross McGill all of Douglasville. The family would like to acknowledge their appreciation to David's coworkers and associates for their concern and expressions of sympathy. No service is planned at this time. In honor of David's love and care of many stray animals over his lifetime, the family requests that donations be made to an animal shelter or rescue group of your choice.
