Dalva II, co-president with his brother Leon of Dalva Brothers, Inc., the company founded in 1933 by their father Leon Dalva, Sr. and his brothers. Mr Dalva was widely considered one of the leading specialists in 18th century French decorative arts, and was president of the Art and Antique Dealers League of America from 1980 to 1984.
