As his daughter, I have an entire lifetime of favorite memories, hundreds of photographs adorning walls, shelves and in my mobile phone gallery. But one particular comes to mind as I pore over my mother's old snapshots from the early 1970s. It's a picture of my Dad, my Grandfather and me in the middle. Dad has one of those smiles that cameras love to capture and my Grandpa Wally who is also smiling because he knows why my Dad is in full tilt belly laughter...the tights that they had dressed...

My condolences to Marian and the rest of Dave's family. I had the honor of knowing him through the Legion. He always had a smile and was a dedicated member and supporter of Post #735 and a really great guy. Rest in Peace good sir and thank you for your service to our country!
