Not sure what to say?

I just saw this on FB. I am not a big FB person, but had not seen posts from David. Therefore, I looked him up on FB and saw his obituary. My thoughts and prayers go out to his the family. David was a special friend to me and will always have a special place in my heart. He was my date to my senior prom in Wichita. I moved from P-burg and nobody asked me to my senior prom, so I asked David. He was kind enough to be my date! Needless to say all my girlfriends thought he was pretty special...

RIP David. Your smile lit up a room and you were always a Gentleman.

I am deeply saddened to learn of David's passing.
He transferred to my platoon when he was a member of Co.A 891st Engr. Bn. (cbt). He was an outstanding soldier and individual. He was highly motivated and personified what we referred to as a "hard charger." He had a great sense of humor and was a natural leader.I am sorry he passed so young. My sympathy is with his family and friends

A smile brighter than the sun.
A laugh louder than a cannon.
A hug to leave you gasping for breath.
A touch as soft as a kitten.

Godspeed, friend. Tell Jay I said Hi.

(And we were singing...)

Our sympathies to David's family and friends who are left to grieve his departure from this Earth too soon. Our thoughts are with all of you.

David was a fraternity pledge brother at KU for a while, Phi Delta Theta. We had a ton of fun for a short time, until he decided the college and fraternity life wasn't really his thing. We loved his stories about his military life, we knew he was a stud! Very proud of his service to our country, we've lost a good man. Peace to David's family and friends.

Prayers for Davids family. Much, much Love.

I am so sorry for your loss! Words cannot express the sympathy that I have for all of you! Just know that each of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Again, please accept my deepest sympathies.Love you allJeff Neer

My heart goes out to your family.
