I worked alongside Dave in scouting for many years and constantly marveled at his devotion to the ideals of scouting. He will not be easily forgotten. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his family.

The Demers Family
I was shocked and saddened to to hear of Dave's passing. He was a very active member of the fire protection industry and he will be missed. Although, in a ways we were competitors there is no competition between friends, we will all miss him.

Our family rented the Demer's upstairs apartment when I was in first grade at the Passios; I recall feeling I had 4 older brothers. Dave would babysit for my parents, and show off his stamp collection to keep us occupied. Much later, I had opportunities to speak with Dave regarding fire protection issues while assigned to Boston Fire Department headquarters; what a genuinely nice guy. Thoughts and prayers to a wonderful family.
