Not sure what to say?

Worked with Dave in Miami when I was with DEA, had many trials with him, good guy.

We are related to the Doheny family through marriage ... we shared both American & Canadian heritage..... I met with David about 10-years ago at the Detroit Public Library where he confirmed our heritage ... My grandfather James Patrick Valentine Donnelly was David´s mothers father I believe. David was a kind, & wonderful man of God

David and I were friends since 1970 and remained in contact throughout his life. A fine man, generous and kind, as well as an intellect to match my own, he will be missed.

I never really "knew" Mr. Doheny. I worked at General Development many years ago as a young mortgage processor, and often had to take things to him in his large, impressive office. Dear Tessie, My brother Frank sent me David´s obituary. I want to send you my love and deepest sympathy. I didn´t really know David, but I can picture him in my mind over at your mother´s house. I´m sure that he was a very special person. I have so many wonderful memories of being at your mother´s house. Our families spent a lot of time together. I cherish those memories. I also just learned of Evi´s passing. My heart felt so heavy when I heard. I loved Evi. Losing your husband and sister...

David was a remarkable man and a wonderful preservationist. I was privileged to work with David at the National Trust for nine years. My sincere condolences to his family.

I'll always remember this wonderful man, his big heart and kindness to spare. My wish for Tess is that the memories she has will sustain her and support her in her loss. With love, Linda

The best landlord we ever had. He is the ultimate example of what a citizen and a friend should be. We will be thinking of David and your family on the 19th.
