Peggy, this last year has been hard for you I know. I lost J in Feb of this year (2013) and now my daughter, Leasa, our youngest is Hospice care with last stages of Ovarian Cancer. I saw the obituary last year and was saddened by the news. I met Dave at U-Tapao in 1966/67. I was just a young airman. We had an odd arrangement where a number of us shared an office. Dave found out my wife was due to give birth in October and he arranged for me to get hops all the way back to Ohio. I was there for the birth of our first child/son. I will always be grateful for his kindness and friendship. He always spoke so highly of his family -- a devoted husband and father.

I'm so sorry to learn of Dave's passing. We worked together in Roseville, CA. He was a great man and good friend.

P.S. His good friend Bill Gaylor also passed away. I can see the two of them talking now.

To Peg I still have 10 minutes of time left. To Peg and the family my deepest condolences Dave was very special to me and someone I admired for the man that he was, for his morals values and how he conducted his life. I and my family are so blessed to have ever know him. My caring and loving thoughts are with you always.
