Not sure what to say?

It is a blessing & privilege to remember David and his family, and to reread his beautiful obituary. Susan was on my heart recently because it is Breast Cancer Awareness Week. I miss them; but my heart is warmed as I think of their children! Sending love!

Terrible they both died so young! Hard to fathom

Just wanted to share that I spent some time rereading a beautiful testimony David's wife, Susan, shared with me (and many others I'm sure) regarding her faith and the strength and freedom it gave her during her illness. It encouraged me once again! Sending love and asking for God's blessings on their children and all of their loved ones. See you one fine day in heaven, David.

I was very sorry to belatedly hear of David's death. I first met David in nursery school in Evanston; our families stayed in touch. As an adolescent, I attended Honey Rock Camp in Wisconsin with him, and have very fond memories of a week spent at the family's vacation home after camp ended. From the day Heather(Susan) brought you to St. Augustine, I knew you were a very special man with a heart like no other. You will be missed by many. In the arms of angels and with your wife forever... I will miss our phone calls and visits. Your children remain in my prayers always.

I worked with Dave at HRH Cable Services. He was a great person. I will miss seeing his smiling face.

His legacy is one of beauty, spirit, intelligence, and compassion: the children.

Dear Family,
I was so saddened to hear of David's death. It has been several years since I saw and spoke with him. We were church family back at Trinity, and Susan and I became friends. Seeing his picture reminds me of David's kindness and gentleness. May your hearts be comforted and strengthened by Christ's peace and assurance of eternal life.

Oh David, I am going to miss our almost daily chats, you hanging out of your car window and me on the porch. Your loving neighbor, Kathleen Lamb
