Sweet David was a band mate and teammate with me at Union H. S. It breaks my heart to hear of his passing and it is truly a great loss of all who knew him. Although we lost touch, it was clear that he'd grow into a great father and be an asset to his community.
Dave was one of the nicest kids at Union and I was proud and happy to have shared our formative years together.

We were friends, bandmates and teammates on the '68 Union High basketball team..."nick-named - The Bostrich" ... for his long neck by his dearest of pals...we loved his lefty hook shot. This is Mike Benedict. Dave was a friend of mine through high school and college years. I have many fond memories of that time and will always remember him for his easy-going personality, quick smile,and loyalty to friends.I am truly saddened by his passing and wish his family all the best.
