Not sure what to say?

My memories of David are filled with him being curious, passionate and so smart, sparring with my husband Tim and discussing everything under the sun (and might have included the sun as well!) Our thoughts are with you. He will be missed!

Janet, Lilly, and Sam - I'm so very sorry for your loss. I played on a USTA team with David. I never actually teamed up with him but, one time, I had to give him a ride home from practice. I really didn't want to give David a ride home since it would take me out of my way. During the ride, David and I talked about different things: work and other topics I don't remember now. David was engaging, articulate, and knowledgeable about many of the things I had to say. What started out as a...

Dear Janet: The funeral service was such a beautiful tribute to David who had so much love of life and had his priorities perfectly right. The world is a less bright place without David here but his spirit lives on. May warm memories of him help comfort you during this time. May his memory continue to be for a blessing. Thinking of you and sending much love, Pam and Igor

David left an impressive legacy of love, compassion and action. An amazing partner and father.

So sad and devastated to hear this PM of the passing of David. My experience with David was with tennis. I always enjoyed playing with David and looked forward to being matched up with him as he always had a great attitude. My thoughts are with you and the family during this hard time.

David was extraordinarily brilliant !He pursued Janet to India and proposed at my home in Coimbatore . His positive energy and passion was infectious. Janet, Lilly & Sam , David will always walk your path . Rest in Peace dear David

Dear Janet, We met when you came to Portugal for the installation of the "She Moves" sculpture in Matosinhos 18 years ago, when I was working on the Programa Polis and pregnant with my first daughter. I remember your good energy as a couple very well. Over the years, I've followed the evolution of your work and that of your family. And how proud you are of what you've built together. God bless you and all your family in this time of sorrow. Thinking of you all and sending my love! Beijo...

Janet - I met you and your husband in Greensboro. I had come to see the install of Where We Met, and write about the work. During one of the events, I found myself next to your husband David. We spoke about your work, and I asked him how the work was transported and stored. He shared they were in some nondescript plastic containers. I didn´t think that was very glamorous and suggested you needed your own Indian Jones wooden crates seared with a unique logo. David got a real chuckle out of...
