Not sure what to say?

dear david, you were very special and you will never be forgotten. i am so happy that, once upon a time, you were in my life. your loved ones and friends miss you every day. randi

dearest david, dear friend, i think of you often, but february 10 is always a sad day. i prefer to remember you on auguast 16 and our days on a sunny beach...malibu, zuma, wherever the wave were best. you are always near my heart when a helicopter passes overhead. you were, and are, deeply loved by many. you are missed. love always, randi

i was lucky enough to be in david's orbit for a few years after high school. he was an amazing person. i think of him often. one of the most amazing experiences in my life was when he flew me over the water, right on the coastline, of crystal cove in laguna beach in a helicopter. he loved letting people have their own existential moment flying with him. he was a gift. really. he was a gift. and he left too soon. my love to his loved ones. randi piper

I also recall how he pushed me hard as a student pilot knowing I could always challenge myself to become...

thinking of you, david, on august 16, on what would be your 60th birthday. you left us too soon. you are missed.

I knew David Gibbs too little while he graced us all with his clarity of purpose and a zest for life that enlightened all who met him.

In Dave's career he was blessed as few of us are with the ability to fuse all aspects off his passion into his profession and do it at a level that achieved an art form with an impact appreciated by millions.
He will always be in our hearts.

I am going to miss you and I thank you for the lessons and the friendship. The job won't be the same without you.

I got to see Dave's big smile and get a big Dave hug every Monday during football season. He was amazing at his job and it was obvious how much he loved it. He will be greatly missed by the entire Monday Night Football crew.
Peace and Joy to you my friend, Dave...

Dave was the lead pilot for the aerial camera used on Monday Night Football ...he, along with cameraman Dave Arnold, created weekly magic with their scenic shots from the various NFL cities we visited.

Mondays are busy days for us in the production trucks as well as for Dave...but he never failed to take a few moments out of his day to talk aviation with those of us on the crew with the itch to fly. He and I also had time for some really good heart-to-heart talks about life squeezed...
