Not sure what to say?

We so love our GIANT red potato and big mac, oreo and ritz cracker frogs. Thanks,David, for bringing smiles to our faces each and every day. Dennis and Cherie Shimek

You will surely be missed. I wish you had a chance to meet your grandson but I know that you will always be there in stories and in your works.

I was especially saddened to read this as I've spent much of my life surrounded by Gilhooly's ceramics. My mother bought several of his pieces at the Candy Store Art Gallery and they have been a presence in our home for years. His spirit will continue to live trough his art.

THANKS for the frogs, beavers, donuts, fun and email discussions on your art. I promise to take good care of your "last beaver." Thanks for all your gifts to the world!!

There is a void in my friendships that time may replace

On my Crocker Art Museum tours, "Frog Buddha" is always a highlight. Thank You, David and go gently.

Thank you David for your creativity you brought to the world. You are one of my favorite ceramic artists. I love your work that's currently being shown at the Laguna Art Museum. May you rest in Peace.
