David Goodrow Obituary
Mr. Goodrow was born on March 26, 1954, in Schenectady, N.Y., the son of Wilbur and Shirley Goodrow.
He married Cynthia Stark on June 22, 1974, in New York.
He was employed for many years as a pipefitter at Electric Boat in Groton and mentored new employees. As a devoted family man, he worked tirelessly as the family auto mechanic, plumber, carpenter, electrician, and financial advisor. He had a love for fishing, boating, and hanging out at The Dock with friends.
Mr. Goodrow is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; his son, Kristopher Goodrow of Niantic; daughter, Nicole Goodrow of Niantic; grandchildren, Gabrielle Watrous, Jasmine Dumond, Jace and Riley Goodrow; honorary granddaughter, Madison Spinnato; and a brother, Richard Goodrow.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic, CT 06357. A brief service will be held immediately following at 6:30 p.m.

We lost a great young man, he always treated me with respect as I was much older, and I do like that in a young person. My dad was friends with Dave for years. I have some great childhood memories of going out fishing on the river with them and hanging out down in Pine Grove with the Goodrow family.
I'm very sorry to hear of Dave's passing and hope his family finds comfort and peace.
