Not sure what to say?

As an upper classman teammate of mine many years ago at West Chester, Dave modeled for me, an incoming freshman, that commitment, hard work and having a good time (and not always necessarily in that order) would be the keys to my success. His incredible legacy speaks for itself. Anyone in the area's track and field fraternity can relate to the Gorman name. Back in those days in the 70's, there was an air of invincibility among us on the WCSC track and field team that for me continued through...

Steve, Tom & all the Gorman Family.

I just heard of Dave's passing last night. It was quite a shock. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and, although I didn't see Dave much in recent years, I can still see his smile and remember the times we laughed and kidded around back in the old Fly By Night days. You have my deepest sympathy.

Steve and Tommy, So very sorry to learn of Dave's death. I still remember the three of you at Hagerman's pool -- like it was yesterday -- diving and swimming like pros. Our prayers and thoughts are with you in your time of grief. God Bless you and your families.

Dave was part a great family that was willing to help anyone that was willing to listen in the area of track and field. Almost anyone who has success locally in pole vaulting had some contact with Dave. His passion was magnetic. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Gorman family & Ms. Litten. I only met Dave once when Mary had Hannah but he seemed like a nice person. I'm sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace Dave.

I only knew Dave for a few weeks but, in those weeks i found that he was a very outgoing person. He took time out of his schedule every sunday afternoon to help make me a better pole vaulter and his caoching was really helpful and appericiated. he will be greatly missed

The world has lost a wonderful and giving person. I remember Dave as always helping my parents, Howell & Mary King. He would start out painting and ended up just helping with everything. He was a Godsent. My parents thought the world of him. I am sure he is in heaven painting and helping everyone.
DAVE WE WILL MISS YOU

Dave,

I've known you for about 9 years and I am grateful to have known such a fun-loving guy. Everytime I was around you, you were always cracking a joke to make us laugh. You were Tyler's favorite person when he was young and growing up. You taught him many things but the two most important things was to love and always enjoy life. You will be sadly missed by all us. Love you always.

Gorman,

You will be truly missed. Your incredible personality and warm, friendly smile was like no other.

We will shred and ride in memory of you, and you will live on with so many good memories.

Peace be with you! - Jason
