David was my mentor and true friend as well as a colleague. We started out at CF&MU in Fresno in 1963. We worked together since I was 20 years old. He joined Marsh & McLennan and so did I. Frank B. Hall sought out Dave to open a Fresno branch and we did. Aon came along and bought FBH and Dave was appointed Chairman & CEO. We workedTogether for over 30 years. He will be fondly remembered by those who knew him.

I met him at his son's house. He was good natured and loving toward people in general. He is very much loved by his family, he raised them well. My condolences to all his family and close friends.
