In working with David on City of Mission issues from 1986 until I retired in 2012, he provided the most professional counsel with a blend of wit and humor. He'd jokingly would refer to me as his 'co-counsel' where we shared more than a few laughs. My wife and I would like to extend our deepest condolences on the passing of David. As a former City Council member and Mayor of Mission, I spent many hours with David from the mid-1980s to 1998. It's challenging to summarize in a few words the man I knew through all those meetings, some of which lasted through midnight on many occasions.
