Not sure what to say?

Dear Saide and Bob-
I cannot imagine the grief of losing a son (or daughter). My prayers, as well as all of your other Bethany friends are with you and your family.

Becky Thompson Ostermeier

I had the privelege of playing basketball with Dave's Dad in college. He had a great mother and father, so I know he had to be a fine individual. My sympathy to all his family.

To all the Hettlers---
You were there for our family's joys and sorrows, and we will be there for yours. Sheri, I remember your beautiful wedding--what a glorious day! My deepest sympathies to you and your children. May you all find some peace and comfort in knowing that so many lives were touched by this wonderful man, and that the thoughts and prayers of all of us are with you now......Much love,

To my childhood friend Bob, his wife Saide, and the entire Hettler family, may I extend my deepest condolences. I never knew David, but reading about him I can see what a wonderful and interesting person he was. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

My heartfelt condolences to Dave's family, parents and siblings! Taima

I had never met Dave but I have had the privilege of knowing his parents and family here in Richmond, Virginia and Virginia Beach, Virginia. My heartfelt sympathy to you all. My thoughts are with you.

Gone too soon...you are missed.

Dave was one of the kindest people I ever knew. Even though we only worked together, I was lucky enough to spend time with him both at work and as many Lakers Games we could get to. His kindness, strength and spirit will travel with me forever. Blessings to his family.
