Not sure what to say?

Hello, Hoene family!

I'm the youngest of the Lange clan in Milwaukee. I got to know David later in his life, especially after dear Joan passed on. I hadn't spoken with him in years, but I came across some photos of him and your family and wondered again how he was doing. I'm sad to learn of his passing, but you were all so blessed to have such an amazing head of your family! Peace to all of you!

Dear Hoene Family,
George and I send our sympathies and prayers upon the death of your loved one, Dave.
A few memories...
George, Julie, John (age 2 1/2), Mike (age 1 1/2) drove a rented camper to Boise. Had Hoene stew (elk) for dinner. Was quite a while before Joanie and Dave realized we were there!! The blessings of a very large family!
Joan visited us at our first home in Milwaukee...hopped our garden fence...grabbed a carrot and ate it!
Joan was at the...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hoene family, what a mighty crew! What a tremendous man has left this earth to his eternal home, to join the love of his life, Joan, and my dear mother, Clarabel, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Even though we did not get to spend much time with the Hoenes, each time was memorable. Uncle Dave will always be remembered by his love for life and learning, the light in his eyes and his good nature. He was always warm hearted, friendly, and full of...

Our sincere condolences to the Hoene family. Especially remembering Jane and Lou Crumbaugh and children today. We surround you in love and prayers. Will say a special prayer for the advancement of these precious souls in God's heavenly mansions - for dear Jane, her mom and her father.

Great obit! I learned much I didn't know about Uncle Dave.

Every time I think of Uncle Dave, I feel a wonderful peace and warm hug. I always felt so welcome and appreciated in his presence. He always had a positive or funny comment on his lips. Even when I was a bit nervous, Uncle Dave always made me feel at home and part of his big family!
Rejoicing he is in Jesus' arms now!!!
Love you Uncle Dave!!!--Theresa (7th of Tom R. Lacey's)
