David Hummer hired me as a software developer and computer support liaison in 1966 which provided me with 6 wonderful years of enjoyment of the JiILA and Boulder communities., He was a great boss and good friend. Martin and I send our condolences to Janet and Julius.

David was one of the most amazing men I've ever known, with an intellectual appetite and curiosity that would be the envy of anyone. I will miss him, and send my condolences to Julius and Janette.
