David Humphreys

I was a delivery captain for David when he acquired Patrick Ellam Inc. He was a good friend and a very fine leader. I admired him for his imagination, dedication and adventurous spirit. After leaving Patrick Ellam, we sadly lost touch. I think of him frequently.

The last time I talked to Capt.Humphreys was Y2010. I asked him his "secret" to his success. He said, "well...life has been good to me and everything seems easy despite the trials." My condolences to the family of a great man, Captain David Humphereys. It was my honor to work with him in the repairs and upkeep of his beloved ships when he docked them with us at BQR Shipyard. Captain David was a true gentleman and a prince to work with. His knowledge of his beloved ships was a wonder to behold. We will miss him.
