I have cherished Dave's friendship for as long as I can remember. Our families lived in Seward together and moved to Anchorage the same year. We shared the adventures of youth in Alaska, California and Hawaii. I love his family and think of them as my own.

For those who grieve David's passing, I share a tear with you. David's mother was one of my best friends in Seward and I remember him as a young tow-headed toddler playing with my children. For you who miss him, take comfort in the fine man and father he turned out to be.
