David was a good friend and passionate photographer. His sudden and unexpected death truly breaks my heart ... I can hardly stand to think about what is lost! I'll remember him forever with great affection and gratitude that he was my friend.

Just found out about David's death and am in shock. Feel so grateful that I was able to visit with him at our Onteora reunion in October, after many years of not seeing him. I first knew David when we were in 2nd grade together, and he was my classmate into high school. Haven't lived in Woodstock for many years now, but was often in touch with him when I came back for visits. Such a loss.
I've always admired David for the impeccable artist that he always was. I remember marveling...
