Dear Betty. My name is Dan Ausprung. I have a company called Hydro-Fab. I have been doing work for Aptar for over 30 years. I was fortunate enough to work with David directly, on several different projects. And after doing so, I wouldn't of wanted it any other way. He was so kind, and he always looked out for others, with a smile. The last thing I remember telling him, was that I loved him, and I'll see him soon. And he said back, I love you guys too. My girlfriend and I really will miss him. He will be in our thoughts and prayers, everyday. If it wouldn't be a problem, could we get two prayer cards. That would mean a lot to us. If you could please call us for our address. Thank you. Dan 262-770-7936

David became a friend and colleague over the past 19 years. Always willing to help us succeed (and dish out sufficient "grief" to keep it lively.) We shared life's experiences both personally and professionally. Kailey was clearly a bright light in his life.
David was willing to hold me accountable for my sake and the sake of those I love. God bless him for that.
He is a life to be celebrated and will be greatly missed.

David caught my eye when I was 8 years old at Licolnwood Baptist Church. I remember think there are a lot of new people coming to our church. Little did I know he caught my mother's eye. David became my step-dad in 1995. I have almost 20 years of memories to short through but it doesn't seem long enough. He was so happy when he became a Papa in 2005 when I gave birth to my daughter. Kailey and Papa were like peanut butter and jelly. Once he held her at 6 hours old they were stuck together for life. I never looked at David as my "step-dad" but my own father. Yes my father is still alive and lives far away. David was always there for me know matter what. I love him and he will be with us always!

My deepest sympathy to the Kennedy family and to David's wife, children and granddaughter. I am sorry to here of David's passing. We were next door neighbors to David and the Kennedy's growing up. I remember many baseball games and basketball games played at our house. The last time I saw David must have been 20 years ago when he had his heart transplant. David was a great guy and I am so proud to have known him. May God give you strength during this difficult time. Hang on tight to the wonderful memories. God Bless You.

My deepest and most sincere sympathy goes out to the Kennedy family. I cannot express the overwhelming sadness upon learning of David's passing. I have known David for 42 years, as he was my best childhood friend and next door neighbor for many years. I have many fond memories of those younger days when we both didn't have a care in the world. Like fishing in the Rock River, riding and building bikes together that we found abandoned in vacant fields, building forts out of wood we found in those same fields, and those awesome tennis ball cannons we would make out of soda pop cans. Unfortunately, I lost touch with David and we spent the next 30+ years going our separate ways. That is until recently when I had the privilege of reconnecting with David on July 7 of this year at my daughters graduation party. Little did I know that he was granting me one more memory that I could cherish for a lifetime.
Thanks for all the memories David and for being such a great childhood friend. I will see you on the other side one day. Until then, your memories and the time we spent together will always remain with me.
Your Friend, Kevin Myers

Dave started out as a customer of mine and in time we became good friends. He was a very smart person to compare notes with in the molding industry. I spent many hours in person and on the phone chatting with him on many levels of topics. He once told me that he wanted to set a legacy for himself that will live on through the ages of time at Aptar and in the industry. I think from what I can see he has done that. David will be missed by all that has known him.

Our prayers on behalf of RJG inc and myself are with his family and friends as they move through this hard time.

My prayers go out to the Kennedy family for your loss. David was a great guy. I work for Automation Plastics in Ohio and Aptar has been a customer of ours for over 25 years. Over the years we've worked with David on many projects. He was always great to work with and very knowledgeable about his job. He's given us a lot of knowledge and taught us a lot over the years. He will be missed
