Thank you Dave for always being so fun and so nice!! Tim Fitzgerald, Sharon Fitzgerald, Greg Sulger, and David Simmons would play volleyball with you years ago and then you were so nice that you remembered me when I would see you at Spin class recently. How crazy that this happened to someone so healthy. We all love you. Thank you for being such a happy joy in our lives. I love this photo!
Love,
Sharon Fitzgerald

David was crazy amazing! His ability to surprise and delight on the spot was magical. My husband has known him for 40 years. I relationship was half of that. That was a beautiful ceremony!
Everyday really simple silly crazy things in the middle of the day to make everyone happy. I was working at Whole Foods. I’m short. He’s tall. One day he just picked me up off my feet and held me above my head that I could see how the world looks from his perspective for one second. And I was...

I knew Dave as a fellow Realtor. He was always somewhat on my radar...seen at tour...but I had the great delight to work with him on a transaction just a few months before he had his stroke. He was so kind! So smart! So empathetic ( I was helping a family to sell their parent's home after their parents had died). His clients loved him. My clients loved him....
and we were all so sad to hear of his stroke.
I will definitely plant a tree for him...what a loss!
I hope that your...

Dear Dave ,
I havent seen you in some years, but the news is still shocking. I think you were the first person I met down at the old ONeill Harbor store when I used to manage it, that had to kind of physically lower himself a little bit to get through the door way. Just because you were so tall. Thats how I first met you . And like everyone else, the first things I noticed about you was, well of course how tall you were! And your bright bright bright blue eyes and matching grin (a...

I will never forget running into Dave a half mile offshore and him instantly and warmly inviting me to join his crew for a paddle. I imagine thats the kind of guy he always was.

I will forever be grateful to Dave for helping to get Main Beach Volleyball club started 20 plus years age. He was such an advocate for youth volleyball and served on our Board for many years. He made an impact on so many people and how great is that. We all need to learn some lessons from Dave.
