Not sure what to say?

Dave and I had far too many laughs together, especially when we got into an airplane! Dave checked me out in the Cessna 208 many years ago. I learned many intricacies of the airplane during those flights. He was a great instructor. I will miss the discussions about computers and the RAPTOR software we both worked with. Dave will be missed by many but certainly not forgotten. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Even in retirement, I can still remember walking into Dave's office to ask his help with a computer problem. He was always glad to help. Dave was a pleasure to work with. His love and admiration of his family was obvious by the smile he would have whenever he talked about them. Just a good guy that left us too early.

As a FAA Regional Office Inspector who often had the pleasure of working with Dave on safety and enforcement matters,I was so very saddened to learn of his untimely passing. Every interaction with him, whether on the phone or in person at the Portland office, always left me smiling and certain we had accomplished our goal. Aviation and the FAA have lost a skilled, vibrant resource.. His family and coworkers have lost fine man.
My sincere sympathies to all.

Dave, you will be missed. It was a pleasure flying with you at Telford.

Dave is one of the people that made a tremendous impact in my life. He gave me my first flying lesson and told me about Embry-Riddle. Little did he know that this simple thing would set the course for my entire professional career in aviation. I'm sure you had the same effect on many people. Many thanks Dave.

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. All of us at Boston Consolidated Tracon will miss talking to Dave. He was a familiar voice to many of us and his knowledge was so valuable. Our thought are with the family during this difficult time.

It's hard for me to imagine walking into the office and not seeing Dave's smiling face.... his generous spirit and love of life always shone through. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Dave: A great pilot and a great friend. Glad we were brought together through work at the FAA.

I'll miss you.

Bob

Dave was a great guy and an excellent Inspector. His manner got the job done while keeping things cordial and professional. I will miss working, flying and talking with him.
My deepest condolences to his family.
Please know he was liked and respected by his peers and a man to be proud of.
