I knew David many years ago - the mid-late 60s - when my family lived next door to his in Hampden Highlands. He and I were great friends, along with Wendy Downs, Mark Horr, the Whitney girls, Paula Windsor and others in the neighborhood. David and I built model cars together, "hung out" with the raccoon that the Lamberts had for awhile in the house-then-the-back-shed(!), got turned on to Martha-Ann's copy of "Led Zeppelin II" and rode the Lambert's snowsled in many, many circles around the...
