Not sure what to say?

David and I (C. Mainard) in Cape Cod circa 1983

David was my childhood friend and my first husband. He possessed an authentic kindness for those he truly cared about. Even as a kid David had a good heart; he raised a wild bird by feeding it dog food on a popsicle stick, then gave it flying lessons till it was strong enough to fly away. As a child he loved to run in the woods, climb trees, catch snakes, sled and ride bikes.

Dave and I knew each other as kids but became real friends in our 20s. We rode motorcycles together and I visited him a lot at Gaylord after his awful crash. We had tons of good times but I hadn't heard from him in quite a while. He was a very versatile human and could do almost ANYTHING! I will miss him and send sincere condolences to his family.

Rest in peace, so sorry things were so dark for you, I can only hope that you have finally found your soothing light.

I pray you find peace

Dave, your infectious smile, sense of humor and caring is what comes to mind when I think of you. Extremely hard working and passionate about the business you built. I am so sorry to hear this very sad news, my friend. Until next time around...

We will miss you! Enjoyed your visits and the conversations. Rest In Peace Dave. Tom & Gail
