Not sure what to say?

Dave, Derrick and family.
So sorry to read about your Father's passing. It seams like yesterday we were playing pick up ball in JF. Also many memeories of playing little league in New Castle with your Father as your coach on the Tigers. May he rest in peace. He is in our Thoughts and prayers.
The Prosachik family

My condolence goes out to the May family for your loss. My memory of Dave May was an autograph picture I received when I a young baseball player. I got the picture of Dave from my uncle (Greg Williams) who happens to be Dave's cousin. I just remember being in awe when I got the picture. I was saddened when I read the notice in the paper. Even though we were not directly related...in my eyes we were.

Dave was a great man! I first met him at the Hotel DuPont, I will never forget when I brought one of my baseball cards of him in and he signed it for me. Always easy to talk to, he will be missed by many.

Uncle Dave I'll miss you dearly......Mikey!!!

The baseball world has lost a true gentleman. We extend our deepest sympathy
and prayers to the May family.

The McCracken Family

May you all have strength and love to hold you together in your time of sorrow. Whenever you need to be strongest most, remember that beautiful smile Dave now has to no longer suffer pain as he was. He is now blessed and free. My thoughts are with you, the May family, always and forever.

Love,
Denise Fields

Davey brought a smile to my face just by hearing his voice. The beauty of the man will live on forever in so many of the hearts he touched. Be at peace my old friend.

My sincerer condolences to Dave's family. Dave was one of the people I always admired from the time we were boys playing ball at the Battery Park in New Castle. Over the years, I encouraged my children and colleagues in my profession by telling them the story of how hard Dave worked to achieve his dream.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
