Not sure what to say?

I was at the Candle light ceremony at Lee Funeral home as my mom passed away this past June. As they read the list of names, David Mayo was read about four names past my mother's. This was the first I heard of his passing. I will always remember David and Diane, my two favorite customers at SeaBlue. So sorry to hear of his passing, but so happy I had the chance to know him.

Only just heard from Jonathan the sad news about David's death , we didn't know he had been ill so it is such a shock . Diane , Linda and I will always remember the happy holidays we shared with you both in England , Spain and Myrtle Beach . Everyone at Greenmount Golf Club will be sad and we will fly the flag at half mast. Remember those curry nights we used to have near your flat in Prestwich and the hilarious night we all had when Linda was Lady Captain. Happy days , long remembered. Love...

His life touched us all and we will always equate the Thistle with David. We'll all miss hearing him answer the phone, "Good afternoon-Thistle Golf Club - this is David, how may I help you?"

I guess I just wanted to be one of many who can stand and say that that David's...

Please accept my deepest sympathies at the passing of your husband. My heart goes out to you, and I pray for brighter days to come.... and to know that your loved one remains safe with God and in His care.

Diane

I am deeply saddened for the loss of David to you, the family and our community.

David, as an Englishman, with his insight and uplifting spirit continued to cement the ties between the Brits and the Yanks.

My prayers are with you.

With warmest thoughts and fond memories, my condolences.
