I cannot imagine how you all must feel at this point. We know God is a good God, but we don't understand some of what happens here on earth. My heart is broken, too, over the loss here on earth of that huge talent and precious spirit!
We continue to pray for the Comforter to be with you as you walk through this difficult time.

A giant of a man in every way has left a void that will be impossible to fill. I loved singing with Dave during his few years in Cincinnati, and only wish we could do it again one more time.

How rewarding and enjoyable it was for me to have been Dave’s high school teacher for three years—he had a joie de vivre underscored with balance, something rare in a teenager. He loved learning, and his efforts and energy rarely flagged. He and I shared many conversations outside of class on a wide range of topics, serious and mundane, and I respected both his intellect and his enthusiasms. My prayers are with all those who loved him, in this time of unspeakable sorrow.

No words describe how much Dave will be missed. His spirit will live on through his family and friends forever, and with that I feel grateful to have known him. We all love you Dave...

My deepest condolences to the Mccutcheon family. I remember Dave in high school as always upbeat and friendly with a contagious smile. He will be missed.

Sarah-

I have so many memories of Dave, from waiting on the two of you when you were dating at Myles' Pizza, to singing with him in operas at BGSU, to sitting in on his lessons with P. Bill and I were so sad to hear of his passing. We ran into Dave by chance on a trip to Disney several years ago and spent a lovely afternoon with him. We are blessed to have had that special day. You are in our thoughts and prayers now and in the coming days.

Peace to all of you,

Sending loving thoughts to Dave's wife and daughter, his family, and friends. He will be missed by all whom knew him. It was so wonderful when Tony, Alex, Chad, and Dwight arranged for him to come to BG a few years ago. I will remember him smiling.
