I first met Dave when my Dad became minister of the First Presbyterian Church in Watervliet. He quickly became a friend of our family and of great help to my Dad. Over the years, he was always there whenever I would visit and attend church or one of the church dinners. I always got a friendly greeting and a hug. So sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. I knew Dave all my life. He was a great man. On one of the trips out west with the Explorer Scouts they camped over night in our yard. It was great fun. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers

Dave was one of the best of the best of men. He did so much for his church, worked endlessly for the Boy Scouts. While he was my scout leader, he also taught me in high school class while a substitute teacher. When a scout could not afford to attend a function, Dave would see that no one missed a camping trip or function, reaching into his own pocket!
There was no limit to his generosity, dedication or hard work. The very best to you Dave in Heaven, I am sure you are there!
