Not sure what to say?

Ann and Jessica:
I never knew your Dave, but I knew Dave's mom, Becky. I was one of her best friends at Eastern High School. The EHS website sent me the notice of Dave's notice, and I was shocked, to say the least. I have tried over the years to re-unite with Becky; my heart goes out to her and all who knew Dave. It sounds like he was an amazing young man/family man. Please accept our sincerest condolences.

We were so shocked to hear the tragic news about Dave’s passing. He was so talented and was a man with a big heart and strong love for his family. May the fond memories of him comfort you at this time of sorrow – sending you all our deepest sympathy. Jan Mooney and Kurt Schiller

I am a recent graduate of the Colorado Center for the Blind. Nanney Dave, as many of us fondly called him, arrived at the center at the beginning of my most stressful time. I was taking on the role of residential counselor for three middle school girls in the center's summer program while continuing my own classes full time and preparing for my graduation. Dave's presence in my classes became more and more important as time went by. He was always there to encourage me as he passed me and my...

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our friend Dave... but with every Ravens game we will raise one to him, and every time we hear his voice on our iPod, Nieve will forever smile and say, "Hey! That's Mr. Dave!" We will always be here for you, for Jess and, of course, crazy Duncan. Our hearts are filled with love for you all.

Dear Ann and Jessica,
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this very sad time. We are here for you.

Love, Beth Lambert

This was the first time that Hailey got to meet the infamous Uncle Dave! She loved him as much as anyone who has ever met him does!

Wendy and I were sorry to hear of Dave's Death. The manner in which he died speaks volumes of his compassion and concern for others. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

Oh my, I am so sorry to hear about Dave. He was such a great person. My husband and I always enjoyed being around him. He built and repaired our houses for us. We would think of things for him to do just so we could see him again. He will be missed greatly. Heaven has another angel and hero.
