David "Downstairs" lived in our basement apartment for 19yrs. During that time he had become a member of the household and loved to be included in our traditions. Certain tasks he loved to be involved in - bringing the Christmas tree up from the basement - staking the sunflowers & gladiolas - driving us to & fro the airport. I served Dave for more than 4 years (Red Robin - had to be his favourite place), and although I would only see him once or twice a week, I always looked forward to seeing him. Dave was a breath of fresh air, always happy and intrigued by what was going on in our lives. He will be missed by so many people, he was a wonderful man. I am sorry to see such an amazing person leave so suddenly.

We're so saddened by Dave's sudden death. He was a part of our family. He was always doing so many wonderful kind things for everyone. I miss his phone calls already, just him checking in on us and the kids. He always had some joke to tell you and it usually made you laugh, even if you didn't think it was as funny as he did, it made you laugh to hear his wonderful laughter.
