Not sure what to say?

The world lost a great clinical endocrinologist and human being when David passed away.

David: Thinking about you today. Diann

I am a classmate and former close friend of David's from NYU Med School. We lost touch after school, though I remember being inivited and unable to attend his wedding. I recently uncovered an old photo album with pictures of us together in happy times which inspired me to atttempt to locate and contact him via the internet, only to discover this devastating news. My deepest delayed condolences to his family, he was one of the good guys. It is not fair.

Hi Guys, Annita (Seckinger) here. I only now heard the news. At the moment i am without word and the sadness is sooo deep that i feel like i have been hit with stun-gun. Unfortunately i have no words except that he will be missed something awful and not just by me. I just wanted to say my thoughts are with all of you right now. I know there is not much one can say at a time like this, so i will not even try. Much love.

Annita

The world has lost a...

As a clinician scientist in obesity research, I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Orloff during his time at the FDA and after. The field shall miss this fair-minded man and his many skills in evaluating medications for chronic weight loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

So sorry to hear, I had a lot of respect for David as a person and a professional, he was bright and fun and always fun to talk to on any topic.

Dear David's family,
No one can truly know what you are experiencing in this time of loss. Please accept my condolences and know that you are in my thoughts.

DGO was a great man and the embodiment of a physician scientist.
