Dave and Heather, I just heard the sad news of David's passing....your David was always smiling and pleasant and respectful whenever we would bump into each other around town, always a smile and "how are you Mr. Whitney?" He was a fine young man. His struggles are over and I know he is in a better place. I will never forget the first time I met David. First day of his High School year. I pull up in my bus seeing this lanky kid standing there with a grin on his face. I'm thinking this kid looks like trouble. (as it happened, I was wrong). I didn't have him on my route list so wasn't sure if he would be taking my bus or another. I opened the door and didn't get a chance to ask where he was going. He said "Hi, I'm David and I will be riding this bus to Quabbin." I said ok then welcome aboard....
