David Pascale Obituary
BARRE - David C. Pascale, 22, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, after a brave battle with mental illness. David was the precious and adored son of David and Heather Pascale. He was the treasured brother of Jessica, Luke, Gina, Olivia, Brianna, and Sophia Pascale; the beloved grandson of Steven and Susan Clark. He also leaves his loving great grandmother Alma Splaine and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as many dear friends who thought of him as a brother. David was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Guido and Yolanda Pascale. David was an amazingly gifted and passionate musician. He was a singer, songwriter, guitarist and drummer. His siblings will cherish their memories of band practices and concerts played together. David will be remembered for his beautiful smile, his brilliant sense of humor, his love for his family, his kindness and compassion for others, and for his Christian faith. Words cannot express how deeply David will be missed, however his family rejoices in knowing that he has found peace in heaven. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 4-7PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 S.Barre Rd., Barre. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 11:00AM in the Covenant Evangelical Church, 611 South St., Barre. Burial will follow in Glen Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made to the David C. Dave and Heather, I just heard the sad news of David's passing....your David was always smiling and pleasant and respectful whenever we would bump into each other around town, always a smile and "how are you Mr. Whitney?" He was a fine young man. His struggles are over and I know he is in a better place. May your faith in God and your love for each other carry you through these sad days....and know that you will all see each other again one day.Rest in peace young David, rest in peace.

I will never forget the first time I met David. First day of his High School year. I pull up in my bus seeing this lanky kid standing there with a grin on his face. I'm thinking this kid looks like trouble. (as it happened, I was wrong). I didn't have him on my route list so wasn't sure if he would be taking my bus or another. I opened the door and didn't get a chance to ask where he was going. He said "Hi, I'm David and I will be riding this bus to Quabbin." I said ok then welcome aboard. Still with the grin on his face, (we later called the Pasquale Smile), he asked "Where do I sit"? I said, with an introduction like that you can sit anywhere you want. He walked to the last seat on the passenger side and there he sat. Whenever he rode the bus that was his seat. We would talk about world events and David always gave his opinion freely even if it was opposite everyone else's. I had a lot of respect for that. Every afternoon when he rode the bus home he would tell me have a good night or a nice weekend if it was Friday. He would get off the bus cross in front, smile and nod. And always, no matter what kind of day he had, as I watched him walk to his driveway, he would turn back, look at me, and with his fingers in a peace sign over his heart he would smile and nob again. I would chuckle and smile. So rest in peace David. And with my fingers in the peace sign over my heart, I am smiling and nodding back.

To the Pascale Family, I was saddened and shocked to hear about David. I am so very sorry for your loss. Anytime I saw David, he was always polite to me. Despite the problems that he had, he was a nice kid. I don't think that there is anything that anyone can do or say to help but just know that your family is in my thoughts and the thoughts of so many others.
