So sorry for your loss, Terri, Tanya and Toya and the Powell Family. I've known your father since Langley Junior High and he was a great person. Rest in Peace David.

Mr. Powell was a strong father figure and devoted to his family. I will always remember that look he would give me when I would visit. You just knew that you had better be on point at all times when he was in the house. He certainly keep me concerned about my relationship with Terri because he was always on high alert. I took no chances at crossing those invisible lines that he surrounded her with. Having four daughters of my own now, I find myself using some of the same tactics that he used...
