Mr. Powell was a strong father figure and devoted to his family. I will always remember that look he would give me when I would visit. You just knew that you had better be on point at all times when he was in the house. He certainly keep me concerned about my relationship with Terri because he was always on high alert. I took no chances at crossing those invisible lines that he surrounded her with. Having four daughters of my own now, I find myself using some of the same tactics that he used on me. Rest in paradise Mr. Powell.

Tanya,

I remembered in elementary that I would come over at times and your dad would always be sitting in his chair. He spoke very little words, but his presence spoke volumes. I will remember him always. R.I.P Mr. Powell. Condolences to you and the family.
