Not sure what to say?

Preston Family. Hard to believe that it has been just over one year since Dave´s passing. Dave Preston was one of the most influential people in my life and any success I have had in business and also in my personal life, was because of the impact he had on me. Dave along with John Scott who he bought the company from, were my mentors, teachers and key holders to my life. Forever grateful and think about them often.

When I worked in Deerfield's Development Office, Dave was among the most frequent visitors as he was 51's Class Agent for many years. It is hard to visual Dave without a smile on his face; a truly wonderful man.

Mr Preston thanks for teaching me how to snow ski !! and also water ski at squam lake, inviting us to you home at squam in the summer, great guy fond memories

My condolences to the entire Preston circle inner and outer. Dave was a fine man and great leader. Like Bill and Frank I also was a 20 year ++ employee and friend. It was Mr. Preston who actually gave me my first bigger job as a plant manager. Shortly there after I was awarded the vice president of operations role and have remained an executive management and have thrived ever cents. Dave gave me the opportunity and allowed me to run with it for that I will be eternally grateful, may you...

My condolences to the entire Preston family and circle of close friends. I worked for Dave for 27 years at "Sco-Dan" as we called it. He was a great businessman, leader, mentor and always made you feel comfortable when talking to him. He gave me an opportunity in the folding carton business that enabled me to have a great career and one that I am still in. Dave was funny, smart, focused and easy to follow, for all of us who reported to him. Often think of him and proudly talk of him when I am...

My condolences to Barb, Chris, and Liz. As our family was fortunate to be able to spend time with the Preston family at Squam, my memory of Dave is his warm smile, a genuine interest in others, and his kindness and generosity. And I think he wanted to make sure you would be having as good a time as he was at Squam, playing tennis, swimming, whatever the case may be. He was a genuine human being.

I say that we are family as Dave and Barb took us in as part of their Squam family (in addition the Cutlers and Prestons have a long special history together). I picture Dave enjoying his swim off the dock, a toot out in his sailboat and lunch on the dock. Dry land included picking blueberries! Dave was the kindest, gentlest and most interesting person to spend time with. His picture brought tears and memories of how special he was. My best to Barb, Chris and Liz. Donna Cutler Jones

Dave was a nice person to work for. He always treated his employees well. Judy and myself ran the shop picnics for Mr. Preston and he was always right there asking how much we needed. I often think of him and wondering how he was doing. my condolences to the family the world lost a good man
