Not sure what to say?

I've known for a time that David was going to leave us. I worked for David for over ten years at the LWTM law firm and loved every minute of it. He became my mentor and gave me the confidence in myself that I had lost over the years before knowing him. I pray for the entire family for the peace and love they need right now. David will always be in my heart and even though I knew it was coming, I wasn't ready to accept it when it happened. David was the finest person I've ever known and...

We are so saddened to hear of David's passing. Knowing David's family; as well as, Marvin and Virginia's over many years, we send our deepest sympathies to you all! Certain of David's salvation, we join you in rejoicing that he is now with our Lord and Savior. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all in the days to come. Please let us know if we can be of help to you in any way.

Our condolences,

Dr. and Mrs. Steve Newman (Rennie Brasington) and family

I thought the world of David. Solid, trustworthy and a man others should try to be like no matter their profession or place in life. A true gentleman and rock. God Bless his family.

Mary Jane,
So saddened by the news of David's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family in the coming days and weeks.

I was honored to work with David at Leatherwood for many years. He taught me a great deal about the legal field and was always a true gentleman. I respected him tremendously for his intelligence, his integrity, and his commitment to excellence in all that he did. He will be missed deeply.

I was David's secretary for many years at Smith Moore Leatherwood until his retirement I have never
met a finer man with so much integrity and so much kindness toward others. I still miss him and I know
many, many others do also.
Sincere condolences to Mary Jane, and their entire family. My prayers for peace are with you.

I too am saddened by the loss of David.. He was a classmate at Bishopville High School.. He was always one of the nicest persons to be around, very humble and also one of the most talented in our class. I was always sure that whatever he aspired to become he would do just that... He starred in one of the Operettas in our school...Always excelled in speaking... and singing!! And of course, he was an outstanding athlete. My condolences to all his family. I consider it an honor to have...
