David was a fine and gracious gentleman. With a job that often called for quiet diplomacy, he handled himself in a way that earned him the respect of those he served. Those who knew him are better for it-

He did much to shape the professionalism of court administration in Georgia. And he was an asset to our judicial system. So glad he had some years to enjoy retirement. My prayers and condolences to Sharon and all his family.

David and I taught school in Commerce as new college graduates. That was a fun and eventful year.I always considered him a true friend. My condolences to his family.

So distressed to learn of David's death. A great court administrator and watchdog for the Macon Circuit. A friend to workers in the system. A loving husband to Sharon. Love and prayers to all of his friends and coworkers, inside and outside the court system.

I knew David from many years ago in Bibb County. He married Sharon who I also know from my work in Bibb County. They made a nice couple and I had great admiration for both. It saddens me to read this and I send my prayers to Sharon and the rest of their families for his loss.
