Dr. Ruehle was my Vet for many, many years. I've rescued many animals over the years and been to see him so many times that I feel like he was family. I call him an "old school" vet and I mean that in the best way possible. He always balanced compassion with practicality. When I would lose a pet, he would put his arm around me and squeeze tightly with a quiet "Sorry". It was just what was needed to show how much he cared. My furry friends and I will miss him so much.
