It was a sad first night of Channukah on the 8th Floor where David lived. As his next door neighbor, I often heard him play the Maozur on a recorder or flute, on the first night of Channukah. It always made me smile. I did mention last year that I appreciated hearing his playing. It will not be the same in the building without him. He contributed so much to the building.
