Not sure what to say?

I will miss Dave working with him on the CFCA Board of Directors. He always had measured and informed opinions and decisions with his tremendous knowledge of the retail fuels industry. Rusty Rinehart

Dear Lynn, Matt and Christina, Our hearts just break for you all. Each one of us was able to enjoy Dave's kindness and generosity of spirit which he shared with everyone he met. Beth and Christina were in the same class and Matt and Maureen were in the same class and we had so many good times together. He truly was a special man--not many people take the time to show they truly care about what is going on in your life. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. While...

Dear Lynn, Matthew and Christina, It was a true blessing to have met such wonderful man as David. Such a kind and wonderful person is rare on this earth and heaven is lucky to have him. Our deepest condolences to you all on this difficult time.

I remembered an old story this morning.
We were all at the Giants game when we were kids in the 90's & we were losing (I believe to the Padres) 7-1 in the 5th. Dave said the game was over, let's go play strikeouts at the Red Monster. So we got in the car & went - I think Joe, Pat, Matt & I were there with Dave. And we were having a great game of strikeouts, it was a perfect day. Just then, someone told us the Giants were coming back & we ended up winning 8-7. We couldn't believe it.

The Sahagun Family were my 2nd family during my youth and beyond. They are the most wonderful family (Sal & Inez were the best) that anyone could ever meet and know. I loved Dave and his brother, Pat, and treated them like my own brothers. Diana, Camila, Gina and their kids are all fantastic people. I have been fortunate to have met Lynn and fortunate to have attended their wedding and then the births of Christina and Matthew. I can´t describe the loss of Dave and the impact he had on my life...

Dear Lynn, Christina, Matt & family,
Dave was a very kind and gentle friend who supported Meghan, Morgan and I over the 15 years that Matt and Meghan spent together at Happy Times Preschool, Saint Cecilia‘s and Saint Ignatius. I am very sorry for your loss. Sending love and prayers of strength at this difficult time.
Fondly,
Sharon Campbell
